“You said, “I’ll be your height by next week” and by the way you are growing that’s probably true BUT you’ll always be my little boy. I’m very proud of you and love you very much (even though you said Julio Jones was better than Jerry Rice which is just crazy, ha ha ha).”

“Life has its share of ups and downs so be positive and keep going, never give up and like Stallone says, “keep punching.” Amen

Advocare – We Build Champions

“Looking back on my life it was an honor being associated with Advocare along with so many great athletes like Patrick Mahomes.” Special thanks to my friend Nick Ward for connecting me with this great company back then. Yes, I am a die hard Patriots fan but I am rooting for KC in this one, Mahomes is a beast!

John J. Quinlan – The Gift of Good Health is Truly Beautiful

In December, right before Christmas, I discovered a lump in the right side of my chest which I hoped was some sort of exercise injury. My doctor diagnosed the issue as lymph related. Last week I had successful surgery which removed everything and I will continue being monitored from this point forward to ensure optimum health. I kept this relatively quiet, except for few close friends & family over the past few weeks. When something of this magnitude hits a person it certainly puts life in perspective, it definitely did for me.

“Don’t sweat the small stuff”

Thank You, God Bless & Much Love,

John J. Quinlan 1/19/2019

Final Diagnosis
Left chest wall, excision of lesion:

  • Benign lymph node with anthracosis.
  • No carcinoma or lymphoma seen
(supported by negative keratin and BCL-2
    staining within germinal centers).

John Quinlan @ 2019-2020 PBA Peabody Basketball 8th Grade Coach

It was an honor being nominated this week to coach my son’s 8th grade PBA youth basketball team yesterday at the Higgins Middle School in Peabody. As I previously stated, I’ve taken on many roles in my life and this was the 1st time as a basketball coach. This was a good team and a lot of unlucky breaks resulted unfortunately in a loss. I’m very proud of each and every player for the effort displayed and for not quitting until the final buzzer sounded. It’s not all about winning, but more about never giving up & giving one’s all no matter what on the court and in life. Every player showed that yesterday which made me proud to be your coach.

It’s an honor being nominated this week to coach my son’s 8th grade PBA youth basketball team today @ 11:30 a.m. at the Higgins Middle School in Peabody. I’ve taken on many roles in my life and this is the 1st time as a basketball coach. This is a good team and I know if these kids play aggressive offense and solid defense we can win this game. It’s not all about winning but I believe these kids can start their weekend off with their 1st win which would be a sweet bonus.
